On 7th August, UK techno artist Perc will release a new EP titled Gob via his Perc Trax label.
Gob is Perc’s (Ali Wells) first solo release since last year’s well-received LP The Power And The Glory. 2014 also saw Wells’ Perc Trax celebrating its tenth anniversary with a two-disk compilation and accompanying vinyl EP series.
According to the press release, the three-track EP was produced during the run-up to the UK General Election in May and continues the confrontational, political themes that connect Wells’ material. The label states that, “Current UK issues of corporate and political greed and the rise in inequality play on Perc’s mind.”
Gob will land on vinyl and digital formats and ahead of its release, a clip of the title track can be streamed via the SoundCloud player below where the tracklist is also detailed.
