Lux Rec Launches MRT Sublabel With New 12″s

Lux Rec’s new MRT division will release Benedikt Frey’s MRT001 on 11th May and Tuning Circuits’ MRT002 on 15th June.

The Zurich-based label was established in 2010 and has been steadily building momentum with records they describe as “acid fueled stompers, creepy low-fi numbers, melodies of pain and sorrow, noisy, analog pieces.”

MRT will be kicked off by MRT001, a three-track 12″ delivered by Love Pain Sunshine & Rain label boss Benedikt Frey while Tuning Circuits’ MRT002 consists of three cuts sourced from two rare cassettes recorded in 1990. Tuning Circuits is the alias of René Bakker, a Netherlands-based producer who originally released MRT002 cut No Compassion via Totally Freaked Out Power Electronics.

Lux Rec recently issued Helena Hauff’s Shatter Cone EP – more info on that here
