Listen to the first track from Objekt’s upcoming album

Genre-twisting producer and DJ Objekt (TJ Hertz) has shared Second Witness, the first cut to surface from his imminent debut album Flatland, which is set for release on 20th October through PAN. Second Witness displays a highly detailed production laced with intense, turbulent atmospheres and brittle textures, and is a great example of the inventiveness that we have come to expect from both PAN and Objekt; demonstrating why the two are such a good match.

Objekt announces debut album on PAN

Flatland, the debut album from Berlin-based producer Objekt, will be released on 20th October via PAN.

Everything Objekt has put his name to so far has garnered a lot of excitement and his debut album will be equally desired. Beginning with a handful of self-released 12-inches, Objekt has appeared on Hessle Audio, Bleep (a split release with Cosmin TRG), Power Vacuum and, earlier this month, Leisure System, for a split 12-inch with Dopplereffekt.

Playfully referencing techno and electro, Flatland has been snapped up by PAN owner Bill Kouligas, a label that has previously put out Lee Gamble, Mika Vainio and Florian Hecker. Flatland will be released digitally and on heavyweight vinyl.
